There are different type of Reading Strategies that we can use to hekp us improve our reading ability, understand what we are reading and prepare us for high school work.
1. Inferring, which means getting clues from the text use our knowledge to figure out the meaning of what we are reading.
2.Questioning, this one means that we are going to ask ourselves question while we are reading.
3.Determining the Importance of what we are reading.
Visualizing is another strategy used to help in reading. When we are visualizing, we add a picture to the words, and it makes the reading more exciting.
In conclusion, reading strategies are all good ways to help us understand what we are reading.It also helps us to explain to others what we have just read, it helps use become better readers, and prepares us for more difficult classes when we move on to High School.
